First page - Honeymoon in St. John
Shoppes in downtown Cruz Bay
I took a picture Meagan had taken and cut out the "background" stuff that was distracting from the image - with a Exacto knife - to show these signs off

Cruz Bay pictures
One of the many bays in St. John
On this picture, I used a "tearing tool" on the picture and the paper surrounding it.
I love the effect it makes!!
Some other sights from around the island of St. John
Meagan said they saw these lizards EVERYWHERE on the island ...
I just loved the picture and the paper I used to frame it...
A day at Trunk Bay
Meagan with a pretty cool sandy sticker
The opposite page - Trunk Bay
A cool beach sticker - this page, I used the tearing tool to make it look like the
waves are washing up on the shore
Meagan and Ryan got married in St. John during their honeymoon.
These are pictures from the day of their wedding
These are pictures of Meagan's bouquet that I cut out,
or "silhouetted" to show the beautiful details.
Wedding Rings in the sand of Trunk Bay
Since Meagan likes Kenny Chesney so much, this picture was an inspiration for me. As soon as I saw the picture, I thought of these lyrics and wanted to make this a special page. I have asked Meagan to blow this picture up into a 5X7, so when we give her the album I'll take her the stuff to put it in. I love this page - it turned out to be one of my very favorites!
Ryan snorkeling in the bay ...
I love these Jolee's stickers from the Caribbean line - I want to use then in my honeymoon scrapbook eventually too!
These are an easy way to make "Jolee's" stickers stand out
using the punches from Creative Memories punch line.
These are a couple of my very favorite pages from her scrapbook - I love the colors, the pictures, and the borders I created with the Creative Memories cutters and some fabric flowers.
These beautiful pages make me happy! Some pictures from Cinnamon Bay ...Some cute beach stickers I found that I thought were perfect for this page ...Next are some beautiful pictures from Cinnamon Bay - the first page is a layered collage of pictures of the bay ...
I love to use "sayings" and layer them on printed paper to make them "pop" out ...
Meagan's bouquet was GORGEOUS ... she had taken some pictures of it once they got back to their cottage - and I thought they were gorgeous. I used some pearl appliques and ribbon to show the detail on the wrap of her bouquet - and her grandmother's wedding ring was also on there - it was gorgeous!
I tried to use some contrasting colors to mat the pictures to bring out the vibrant colors in the photos.Close ups of the ribbon and pearls ...In this photo, I show the outlining and cutting of a picture to give a little more visual element to the page. These pages were a new way for me to mix printed paper and plain paper to create a more visually pleasing layout.
These two pages evolved over the ENTIRE months I had Meagan's pictures. I knew I wanted to use the printed paper that is in the background, but didn't want it to overpower the pictures. I created my own polka dots to enhance the shapes on the paper and then I used the same chalked paper to punch out the letters in the middle of the pages.
Also worth mentioning here, is that I have left several "text boxes" throughout the book for Meagan to journal about the things in the pictures. No one knows the trip like she and Ryan do, and I think it's so much more special for the owners to journal these things rather than me writing what I think she would want said.
These two are my absolute FAVORITE pages of her book - although it was hard to choose. I love the colors I chose to use and the fonts, chipboard letters, and chalking pieces I did. I will probably try to re-create this in my own honeymoon book someday when I get to it!
I love this last picture!!!
Their new last name ...
Colorful pages to go with the sugar plantation...
More Sugar Plantation ... used the oval cutters to give a little more dimension to these pages ...Corner rounder to match the aesthetics of the ovalsIn the above picture, the squares I used are cut out of the sides of pictures I cropped, so they are parts of her pictures, too!
I like the colorful borders and highlights I used on these pages - she took such great pictures, it was hard for me to make them stand out when they were all on the pages together - I like the background/highlight paper on this one though - the bright colors really suited the pictures I thought!
In these two pictures, I used the paper itself to cut out the flowers to enhance the pictures...
These next pages are outside on the Sugar Plantation grounds .. I LOVE the background paper, but of course I love anything with polka dots - I carried the "dot" theme over to the corners of the pages and the letters for DEC 2008.Love the use of chipboard letters and more "sayings" - "Moments with You"
More Sugar Plantation ... but Beautiful flowers call for pretty colors that enhance the flowers!
These pages are some of my favorites as well, for the little add-ons I did. I love, love, love the circles with the stickers in the middles ... my fav. part of the album for sure!T
The above picture is my very favorite "accent" in the entire book - I love the circles, the colors and the letters used here. I would LOVE to use this in my honeymoon scrapbook eventually!
I really like the top portion of this page too, with the name of the restaurant in the circles.
These two pages are simple, but beautiful - we had a time figuring out where she was, but I was glad we got it!
A cool effect on this picture- I needed something different after so many ocean pictures, and I really like what I did here.letters outlined with printed "bubbles"The opposite page with more circle accents - I love what they look like! One of my favorite circle accents!
The next page is from Coral Bay, a busy port bay in St. John right near the Sugar Plantation they visitedThe above picture shows how I cut out letters from the actual picture for a little different feel.made my own borders for this page
The next two pages showcase how I used her "commercial" memory pieces to try to make them fit with the style of her book. I used a mixture of her postcards/receipts with real pictures and stickers/accents to tie it all together. I also cut out accents from other papers to mix with the paper to make it a little more appealing.
a very cute set of passport/map/money stickers!
3Showcasing a few more very beautiful pictures Meagan took!
The next few pictures are various of the couple and some things they did together.
These pages are on the ferry ride back to the airport ... I love the bright colors and the stickers used.In this picture above, I used rub-on letters to create a title for this page ...
The next few pages show the sirplane ride back - Meagan caught a couple great shots of a rainbow from the plane window, and some GREAT sunset shots - beautiful!
LOOK VERY CLOSELY in the windows of the plane!!! :-)
These two were AWESOME pages I created ... I had a LOT of leftover pictures that I wanted to use, but they were either close to being duplicates or I just couldn't find a use for them in the book. I got the idea to use them for a sort of collage - I will definitely use this again - I love this idea!!!

Just a few of the letters ...
The last two pages ... I thought it fitting to use a few of the "together" pictures and a picture of one of the bays ... then I decided to give Meagan an additional space to write about her experience and her honeymoon on the last page.
I was so glad to be able to do this for Meagan and Ryan. Meagan has been so good to us and taken photos and made our Christmas cards for the last few years - I am so blessed to have married into their family and gained such an awesome "cousin"!!!!
Best wishes Meagan and Ryan!
